I recently purchased a Aqua Medic dual 400w metal halide ballast and 2- Sunlight supply Lumen Max 2 pendants.

The question is with switching out the plugs on the pendants to be able to plug into the ballast, I have the 3 prong female plugs, I know the center terminal is for the ground but are the other terminals polarized or can you just wire to either prong of the plug.

If they are polarized does the center terminal on the Mogul go to the capacitor or directly to the ballast?

I appreciate any help anyone can give me!

Has anyone ever wired one of these things up? I really just don't want to mess up.

I've wired up a Lumen Max 2. If my memory is correct, the output from the ballast I used an IceCap) should be two wires for the pendant. You could add a ground, I suppose. The three wires leading into the ballast should be hot, neutral, and ground, and I would recommend getting an electrician to work on it if you're having trouble.
