Green tint to LR

I'm curious I have a chance to pick up some LR from a guy tearing down his setup, but the LR has a green tint or algae on it.....While looking it over I tried brushing some off, but still has a green tint....What could it be?

I have green irridescent coraline algae on some of my rocks and some on my glass. It really like it. Also have lots of red and purple coraline.

I also have a green tint on my LR. I am pretty sure that it is coraline algae since originally I had some green and lots of purple but it bleached from the light when I put it in there. Now all of the corline that was purple is now green.

I myself like the green coraline. I hope it stays but it is my understanding that it is a deep water coraline and the purple will eventually overtake it.
