I found something in my bioballs that was staring at me through the acrylic. I shined a flashlight on him to get a better look, and he retracted back into the balls. First of all, what is it. Second of all, what should I do with him? Should I put hum in my refugium, put him in my tank, put him back in the bioballs? Sorry for the quality of the pic, I am new at this. Thanks, RussP.http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/133469critter.JPG

Look up pics of peanut worms to compare, it's really hard to tell what your pic is but they are harmless in your tank, I have at least two in my tank.

stick it back into your tank. I've got lots of them and like you I have only ever seen one completely visible once but I understand that they are harmless as well.

I would believe that is a retracted peanut worm (phylum Sipuncula). They are harmless detritovores. Put it in your main tank on a rock with lots of holes / crevices and it will eat detritus.
