I have had my Bimac octo for over 4 months now, and I am wondering what would be a fish or 2 that I can get. Now, my octo with all his arms stretched out is about 5", so he cant eat anything really bigger than 2-3". I saw a Longhorn Cowfish today, and I really wanted it. So could that go with him? The cowfish was about 3.5-4". Is there anything else that can go with him that is not a guppy.

I've kept an octopus once and it was the only resident of the tank which is what is recommended. From what I have read most other fish and inverts will either become dinner or will harm the octopus.

Blue Damsel. The octopus will never catch it.

The octopus won't be able to escape from it, either, if it decides to nip at its eyes.

Cucumbers, stars, corals...But any fish that the octopus won't eat is likely going to harm the octopus.

Cowfish release a toxin when stressed or when they die.
