I'm upgrading my system & been looking at the Geo's

I have heard that there's been problems with them leaking ,is this true ?

That's not true at all, and I would really be interested in finding out where that was being spread from?

There have been instances where units have leaked before, however we are talking a very small amount compared to the units that are in use on the market. 99% of those very small occurrances have also been from either shipping damage, or an improperly seated, or even pinched/damaged o-ring for the top. Other than that there have been no problems.

If you have any questions please feel free to let us know.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I'm looking at Geo 624 vs. PM RFCa6 How do they compare to each other ?

Both of them are going to be very similar in size and very similar in the amount of media they hold. The quality in my opinion is just a slight edge in favor of the Geo, mainly on the connections of the fittings. They are both reverse flow, so chalk one up for each of them. The biggest difference that comes in though is the fact that the Geo uses the larger PanWorld pump, where the PM still uses the Eheim. Don't get me wrong, the Eheim pump is great, but the PanWorld really rocks on that reactor, pushing water through the media much more efficiently and making the reactor itself more efficient.

So with the Geo you would be getting a unit that is a little better built, a lot more efficient, and costs about $130 less than the PM. I would highly recommend going with the Geo units.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi,

As soon as we get an update from Geo I will post here. All of the Geo products are made to order, which sometimes this does create backorders. I apologize for the delay.

Thanks,
Jeremy
