What is the minimum water temperature that GSPs can survive in?

We just converted our reef tank to a bimac enclosure and assumed we were going to have to sell off all of our corals because we dropped the temperature to 72. There was one heavily one encrusted rock that we decided to keep because it was a nice rock. To my surprize, the polyps popped back out in the morning.

I think the octopus would prefer and even cooler temp, but if we can keep them both, that would be awesome, so if anyone has advice on the best common temperature, please let me know.

Also, what is the proper coral forum for GSP?

Thanks...

They are some of the toughest corals around. I don't know exactly what tolerances they have, but a little experimentation and you could find out.

They will live in 72 for sure.

They hate fast flowing flow of water. Mine receded when faced directly to my tunze 6100 at the other end of the tank.:)
