salifert: Trace Soft

Has anybody used the Salifert "Trace Soft" additive? I just got it today....mostly because i've liked all salifert brand things that i've tried before and because it was a huge bottle for 4 bucks (the store was clearing it out), and also because i have tons of softies.

But does the stuff actually work good? Or did i just lose 4 bucks?

And what should i be looking for to see if it is doing anything? I'm guessing just coral growth and maybe nicer color?
