Would 150 HQI be over kill? 70 Be enough?

150 was made for the 24 and the 70 was made for the 12. So go with the 150. Good luck.

I would definitely go with the 150. The 70 is about the same watts as the original PC in the 24 DX. I have the 150 with a 14K lamp and it really has nice shimmer lines and the LPS/softies are doing well
