This is on the glass of my sump.Are they friend or foe?

I'm not sure about the first one (looks like branching coralline but might be a pair of Montipora eating nudibranches).

The second is a non-motile hydroid. They don't cause any harm and don't last long in our tanks.

Marc,Thank you.The hydroids are very cool looking.The thing in the first pic hasen't moved since I noticed it and did break apart when I touched it with a tweezers.Must be the branching coraline.I never knew coraline grew like that.I appreciate the ID,Have a Happy new year

The first looks like a bryozoan colony.
