What is this hairy film-like substance in my tank?

It seems to be all over the tank.

Looks like hair algae to me, you need more snails, and reduce your phosphates.

I have the same stuff...had it on my rocks....I eventually ended up scrubbing it off the rocks. On the glass my coraline outcompeted it...and as far as the overflow its still there.

I had a lot of my snails die and thought this stuff might be dino's because I read that will kill snails.

This stuff is pretty hard to get off the loc line. It looks like it would just fall off when you touch it but it doesn't

My snails didnt die while i had it so im going to assume we dont have the same thing
