View Full Version : Help! lost Fastest Alkalinity test instructions

I just bought a refill for my Fastest (aka Instant Ocean, Seatest, Aquarium Systems) Alkalinity test and can not find the original instructions. Now I don't know how many drops equals what.

If someone would have the instructions to this test kit, could you please scan and post or e-mail me.

I happen to have this kit but use Salifert instead (I only used it one ore 2 times)... but I do remember it was very close to my Salifert kit....

Each drop equals .5 meq/L for the 1 vial sample, and .25 for the 2 vial (high precision) sample...

Directions...

Fill small measuring fial to the top with water.

Pour sample into the large titration vial

Titrate with reagent by adding one drop at a time and swirling to mix after each drop. Initial color should be blue, at the endpoint it will turn to yellow-green.

The high precision is the same but uses 2 measuing vials instead...
