I have had my tank up for about a year now. It's had its ups and downs and right now, well it needs cleaned. But before I get to that, I had to move a rock to the sand bed due to the lack of stability that It once had. I used the underwater curing putty with some success. Frankly I hate the stuff. I can not seem to get my rocks "concrete" in thier postions. Some are more stable than others but I obviously don't went them falling down. Is there any other way to stably stack live rock so it will not come down with out the use or minimal use of putty?

Thanks

Jim

I've read a couple of places about using a cement bit to drill holes for plastic rods unglued so you can pull them apart later.

I have never used any of that kind of stuff when stacking my rocks. I just, well, stack them and create lots of space in between the rocks so there is plenty of water movement and places for the fish to swim in and out of.
