???
i've had for past 3.5 years about a 32X turnover rate, now at about 55X turnover, BUT want 1 more TUNZE. then i'll be at 75X turnover, after removing 1 MJ 1200 out of the 7. THEN eventually i want to remove all MJ 1200's and add another TUNZE for a total of 3. that will give me about 76X turnover rate w/ return pump throttled back like now at 600gph instead of 1000. my goal is 0 dead spots. i'm just about there. i have lots of LR and need lots of flow. just wondering if there's ever too much flow for SPS...

Too much direct laminar flow? Sure.

Too much proper, turbulent, random flow? No.

I agree w/ SDguy. I've got about 46x turnover and still have
dead spots here and there. W/ a corner tank its a little difficult
to hit all the spots but have the equipment hidden.

To much direct flow is a NO NO but volume is definitely the key !
