After some reasearch I really like the untils from thefilterguys.biz.

Here are the three that I am deciding on, but I'm not too familiiar with these things so I'm hoping for some advise. I have read nothing but bad things about the ones on ebay so I'm not getting on off of there.

$130.00 - OCEAN WAVE FIVE STAGE 75 GPD RO/DI or $155.00 - OCEAN WAVE+ FIVE STAGE 75 GPD RO/DI or $ 195.00 - OCEAN REEF + 1 FIVE STAGE 75 GPD RO/DI.

Also, do I need the CHLORAMINE FILTERs? Doesn't the RO/DI until already remove chloramines?

I would simply call the filter guys and tell them exactly what you have/need and they will set you up for your area. They will not "oversell".

Thanks, I just sent them an email. I think the ocean reef + 1 is a better deal since it already comes with the TDS meter.

Of the three the Ocean Reef is the better choice. You need to call your water utility and ask if they use chloramines or chlorine for residual disinfection, only they will know. Good 1.0 to 0.5 micron carbon block will handle chloramines but some units also use granular catalytic carbon to accomplish the same thing. Normal 10 micron blocks or granular activated carbon are not very effective on chloramines if they are in fact present. Chloramine are not all that common but more utilities seem to be going that route to reduce carcinogenic compounds or chlorinated byproducts in drinking water. Free Chlorine is still the number one disinfectant worldwide.

I went with the ocean reef + 1. It came with more 'stuff' and I couldn't find any negatives about their products so I should be good to go. I'm glad I did my research and decided against a ebay product.
