is it a bad idea to put one snail or tiny hermit crab in a larvae tank>?

green water gets all over the sides and heater etc and even though i siphon every day there is no way i get every piece of uneaten food.

obviously it ll inc waste but what is worse? added poop or uneaten food?

Use a razor blade and you can scrape that algae off....not sure how much poor water quality a snail or hermit can tolerate (when compared to larval fish) before dying and rotting themselves.

well accoring to my ammonia alert, its perfect lol

yes i could scrap the bottom , but than all the debris gets pushed up before i can target siphon it.

You gotta scrape the bottom and sides and then let stuff SETTLE...i.e. do the siphoning an hour later...
