too small to get a pic of so i drew it, it is slightly less than a mm tall and less than a half mm wide, moves like a snail, only see them spaced every 3-5 inches apart on the glass

What color are they? I have something similar to what your describing. They don't look like the one in wilsoh's pic. I have had them for awhile and they don't seem to be harming anything. If anything they keep my sixline's belly nice and fat!

hmm, doesn't look like that, I did have stomatella snails in my old tank, I've seen 1 large one in my new tank, maybe it is babies that i am seeing

they are opaque, with an orange/brown tint in the middle as drawn

the pic is many times magnified, they can appear a little different to the naked eye, and look darker than the pic also, that one is on glass & has light shining through it.
Try viewing them with a strong magnifying glass, if they are the nuisance red flatworms you should be able to see the similarity with the pic.

I'll try and get a pic tomorrow and see if it is the same as yours.

I had some of these in my aquarium a few months ago, but reduced feeding to my aquarium. I don't know if my green mandarin or other fish ate them or where they went, but I haven't been able to find any in awhile.

Sorry, can't get a bigger picture of it but your drawing really reminds me of what I had. Mine were more pink then red or orange.

2fishy that pic looks like the nuisance red flatworm, probably more like how they would look to the naked eye than my close up does.

Are they bad?? From what I can see they are all gone, but just curious in case they come back.

Here's a good macro shot of those nuisance flatworms. Hope that helps.

The good news is.....Salifert Flatworm Exit is VERY effective against these.

2fishy, don't worry. Your worms are acoels, but they don't appear to be Convolutriloba, aka red flatworms. Notice that the name refers to the three lobes of "tail." Yours has two.

Mine look just like 2fishy's pic. Greenbean are these harmful to anything in the tank?

They probably aren't harmful. I don't know how well the diet is studied for most of the group, but I think the common belief is that most acoels are microscavengers. Most don't seem to reproduce as well as Convolutriloba either.
