Saw one of these for the 1st time in real life today and had never even heard of one before it. This is an absolutely gorgeous fish and I would love to add one to my reef, but have heard they are shrimp snackers. Has anybody had one before, what were your thoughts on it, did it eat any shrimp if you had them, etc. Just trying to find out more about the fish. Thanks.

I had a yellow dottyback/ pseudochromis and it plucked the eyes off all my shrimp . I have a sunrise in my reef now and he is very small 1.5-2 inchs and doent bother much right now . I hope he doesnt attack my cleaner shrimp when it gets bigger .

Mine didn't eat shrimp, but was a bully towards other fish. He lasted about a month before I took it back to the LFS.
