I just started dosing kalkwasser, my levels are at 430. Should maintain the drip to make up evaporation.

That is fine, though you should keep an eye on the pH, as well, to make sure it does not fall outside the recommended ranges.

Not to highjack this thread, but what is the best calcium level to shoot for?

My PH stays between 8 - 8.4

Also, my evap problem and kalk drip dosage is not in sync, My sump will get to low and I add fresh water to increase the sump level. hmm after re reading this I guess it does not conflict with much. I was going to say my salilnity levels change. 1.022 - 1.024 mostly.

I allways thought CA should be 400 to thrive, although my LFS said they keep there levels at 440-460 and higer.
