I have some microfeather that I cannot seem to get rid of. I am sick of picking it off of the rock.
Those wishing to suggesting that I eliminate nitrate and phosphate need not apply. I understand basic aquarium chemistry.
I am looking only for fish suggestions.
I have a 90 gallon mixed reef.
Current Fish:
1. bi color blenny
2. pigmy angel
3. kole tang
4. strawberry basslet
5. clarkii clownfish

Thanks everyone

I have a yellow tang that eats the stuff. Dont know how big of a help it is because the tang tends to eat only the newer growth ( the tips) and then what remains looks messy.

I have a scribbled rabbitfish that destroys any vegetation in the tank. Besides hair algae of course. I have had 3 different rabbitfish in the past. All have been great for controling caulerpa. Sometimes a piece will make it into the tank from the sump, but not for more than 10 seconds.

My Yellow and Desjardini tang eat caulerpa. They eat all of it, not just the tips.

What do you mean by "micro feather"? That description sounds like possibly bryopsis. It looks sorta like the feater caulerpa, but much smaller and usually darker green. I've been battling it for months. I'm considering gasoline as a remedy at this point. My tank's a bit small for a tang/rabbitfish (55g), and I don't want to get one and then find out that it won't eat it anyway (like everything else I've tried).

It actually isnt bryopsis, which I did have a couple of years ago. I am sorry, but I really dont know why the bryopsis dissappeared out of my tank.
This is definately caulerpa, it is just smaller than normal feather. I dont know why. Maybe it is just a different species.

great suggestions so far. I always wanted a blue tang. and a yellow tang, and a sailfin tang, and a scribble rabbit...

my unicorn tang used to eat anything thats green. Also my vlmingai tang is the same way. They are similar looking fish with voracious appatites.

my foxface eats this stuff like it's going out of style! I would highly recommend one.
