I need recommendations for a heater, specific, reliable manufacturers. It'll be for a 58G reef system.

Shall it be fully submersable or.........?

Thanks, AGAIN:D .

ebo jagr

Not Hydor. I run a Hydor and it is good at maintaining water temps. Bad thing is I have it set on 71 degrees on the dial to maintain 78. So maybe look at the Jagr. :)

To figure out which one, I need to include the size of my sump too, right?

58g Tank + 10G sump= 68G

I may be getting a larger sump, but I think only the 10G will fit under the tank, in the stand.

Another vote for Ebo Jager and Visi therm.

I was going to put in a vote for the titanium heaters. I actually have one each of ebo-jager and visitherm. Be sure with ebo-jager that the box says fully submersible. The underwater and non-underwater boxes look almost exactly the same.

I vote Via Aqua Titanium. No more broken heaters.
