Hi,

I purchased a used old style Phosban reactor which has a bunch of screws on the lid. Unfortunately the reactor leaks from the seam at the lid (where the flanges are screwed together.)

I tightened the screws very well, but it still leaks. I am suspecting that the O-ring is no longer seating well. I tried a small amount of Eheim vaseline on it to no avail. Should I replace the o-ring? Where can I find one?

You can find some o ring material the right size. Then cut and superglue the ends should work fine for this application. Try an ace hardware or other smaller hardware store for the bulk material
