It will get rid of the algae problem I am having. It is do to the crappy water I have and the ro/di unit falling with me catching it in time.

I love these reactors. They really work well. The media lasts a hell of a lot longer than PhosGuard, etc. They're real easy to maintain also. Get one.

They are really cheap, so why not pick one up. I'm going to order a new one soon.:)

I just recently ordered a phos reactor and havent gotten it yet. I have been keeping phos ban in a nylon bag and was wondering if it was working. I dont have any algae but I want to maximize sps growth. I took my water to lfs for testing and my phosphates came back as 0- 0.25 too hard to tell which it was but definitely no higher. Isnt o.25 alot of phosphate. Is anyone having good luck with the nylon bag in sump method. I thought that would help in the pro/con of phos reactors vs nylon bag method

I just started running the tlp reactor w/ phosban. A couple questions.
#1 - im using a maji 400 and what is coming out as a trickle, is that ok? Not sure how to measure the flow with it?
#2 - how long and often should I run it or change the media
Thanks

i just got mine last week..my algae growth has slowed to nothing, just from the one week of using it!!!!
the one two little fishes makes is very cheep.. dont get that one i learned thehard way..
do you all know of one that has two 90 degree elbows on the input and out put all the ones i see dont and it makes it hard to hook up and in the case of hte tlf one it causes stress and pulls the pipes out
anyways any one try running rowaphos in it?
