Problems w/New Blue Mushroom

I just got recently purchased a new 2" diameter True Blue Mushroom. I have placed it low in the tank and on top of a flat piece of live rock The mushroom seems to be scrunched up all the time though, as if not comfortable or irritated, does not look anything like the relaxed gorgeous sprawled out mushroom I saw before I bought it.

How do mushrooms place themselves on live rock?

what are your tank parameters and what type of lighting do you have it under????

Assuming your tank params are sano, Mushrooms can be picky about where you place them.

Many dont like a lot of flow. Look for a slow water area in your tank.

If they don't like someplace, they aren't likely to attach. You can CA gel them, or use some bridal veil.

I have a Neon Orange mushroom that is so cranky, he stays scrunched up for 3 days and spews nonstop if I bump up or move him.
