Aqua Medic Sunlight NG Fixture

I know you guys are Aqua Medic dealers, have you ever had your hands on the AquaMedic Sunlght NG fixture, its 2x250w+4x54w t5's, the 48" model.
I would be really interested to hear your opinions of this fixture, thanks MGB

Nice fixture! I like the shape and design of this fixture and the amount of light it provides. The moonlights are a nice touch as well. Not sure how available they are but can look into it if you would like.

Yes that would be helpful, I've seen it online for around $1,200, but its hard to make a decision without seeing the product, however I do trust your judgment. There's just not many people around who have seen it and can give an experienced review.

I chatted with shawn at SC this afternoon and he chased down a lot of info on the above lighting fixture, the bottom line is there is an incompatability problem with the voltage differences from here to europe, so AM installs transformers in this unit and they have not had a good track record, thus they quit importing the unit. Thats unfortunate but I'm sure glad Shawn did the reshearch, GREAT customer service. He also tracked down the details on the new Maristar 48" unit that was due out this new year, looks promising.
