I would just like to see some halides with 20,000 kelvin rating before I take the jump and buy. Please post what you have :)

All 20k bulbs / ballasts light the lamp differently. Also, pics for the most part aren't always 100% accurate because of the "white balance" of the cameras.
What type/brand/watt of ballast do you have now and what color of "blue" were you thinking of?

Well here is my situation. I bought a 30g cube which has a length of 20 inches. I am having trouble finding a MH lighting system that has both MH + Actinics. I love the look of actinics so thats why I want that, not so much to supplement the MH because I dont think I will need to. I will get a 150w MH which should be pleanty of light.

I havent been able to find ANYTHING that will fit on a 20" that has both MH and Actinics. They all start from 24". So I was thinking of just getting MH with a 20k bulbs so it will have a nice blueish tint, but before I do that I wanted to see how they look first. I am at a lost as to what i should do because I simply cant find something that will fit on my tank and have both lighting options..

If I were you i'd suggest buying the current usa sunpod in 20" lenght. They have great reputation as well as good reviews. It comes stock with a 14k bulb. The 14k bulb doesn't need actintic suppliments and has a blue hue to it. 8 months down the road when it comes time to replace the bulb, if you wanted something more blue, try something like a 20k hqi xm bulb.

Thanks Stewie.

Thats what I guess I will do, although I am a bit disapointed I havent been able to find something 20" with MH + Actinics. I am not really in a rush yet since I still need to cycle my tank. So I will continue to look for the next two weeks or so and hope to find something.
