Hello to the Elos community! I am a new Elos venturer. I work in a very prominent online store and we sell just about everything. However, while speaking to the powers at be, I was told that Elos is very pricey. I want to test out Elos products especially the additives and test kits. Where can I buy these at? I want to test them because if I like them, I can have everyone try them. If they like them, it would be reccomended to everyone. I can't name the store but it is the online store that sells the most of anything aquarium. Not arrogance but I like to try out products and if they work, then they work and I like everyone to know that. Please let me know as soon as possible because I can't find anyone that carries them. Thank you for your time in advance.

Being new to the US and having a small warehouse we are slowly getting our products in stores. Our test kits are very reasonable priced for the quality and we carry prima line additves that are lower cost and an expert line additive that is more concentrated and higher priced. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

I purchase directly from Elos, but you are in CA so you may have more options.

So far, everything I have purchased from Elos has exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in everything they do borders on mind blowing and I am a fanatic when it comes to such attention to detail.

For example, take the dropper bottle from an Elos test kit and another from a Salifert kit. Remove the caps and turn the bottles upside down. The Salifert kit bottle is going to begin dripping fluid uncontrollably. The Elos bottle does not drip until you physically squeeze it; the bottle is made of a softer plastic and is also easier to squeeze. This is a stinkin' dropper bottle we're talking about here!!

Their fish food comes in an aluminum jar!! When was the last time you've seen ANYTHING packaged in an aluminum jar?? (soda comes in CANS for the smartypants.)

I am looking forward to the day I run an Elos system. I have my sights set on upgrading my planted tank after I work out a few more issues.

Thanks for the compliments old salty. The one thing that I will add is the details are functional. For example our food, is packaged, vacuum sealed in an aluminum jar so we do not have to add preservatives and we sell refills so once you buy the first jar you simply buy refill packs to fill your jar to reduce waste. The lab droppers we use are made so I can squeeze them or my son can squeeze them and get the same size drop. Salty if I get a chance I will post a few pics of the new freshwater stuff I got in the last couple of weeks. The co2 equipment is crazy!

Thank you again nanolurker. hey I heard a weird fact today. Elos makes tanning beds? Oh well even if it's true or not, I still want to try their calcium and alkalinity. Can't I just buy this online? Are there any stores that sells these products? I would want it overnight if need be. I just feel too lazy to drive to Hollywood for it. Plus the traffic is not cool at all.

You can view my pics and info I have here in the Elos forum listed as "System 120 pics!" http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=961293

I went to Medusa La. Thanks NanoLurker. I bought the Calcium Extra. As far as I know all it does is maintain. Probably best on a drip system. Anyway, ElosUsa, can you send me that 250ml you were talking about, if you have any left that is. I want to get 1-5 Prima products and the calcium pur. If you can text me how I can do that and everything else. I want to get it as soon as possible. Already I am impressed with the packaging alone. And the weird dangerous smell from the powder. If this stuff works well, then everyone needs to know about it. till then.

oh by the way, i want to try the carbon as well. Does Elos have any salt mixes? Also, the coral food in the little plastic tube bottles, how much does one tube feed 100 gallons 200 300? Can you take all of those out and empty it on one container without going bad? Sorry about all the questions. so yeah, total that would be all the prima line, calcium pur, carbon and add the phytoplankton. Let me know so you can get it sent out Monday morning
