Hi guys I have a 46G bowfront with 80pounds ot tonga rock. I recently purchased two of the smallest nanostreams (600gp/h each). one of them was broken in the box so i havnt put it in my tank yet. I have the 1 nanostream on one corner and a fluval 304 can-filter pumping out about 150GP/H on the otherside. Am I going to need that other nanostream, or shud I just take it back?
Thanx

Depends on what you plan to keep in the tank really.

Well right now i have leathers, bubbles, polyps, and brain coral. and i plan on getting a variety of reef fish so I just want a happy medium for all if there is such a thing.

The leathers need a moderate to high flow. I have one powerhead pointed at my leather and it loves it. I would suggest another but thats just my opinion. Hope this helps.

I have about 950 gph flowing in a 20g high display, the flow is dispersed from 6 sources. I like alot of random flow. SPS Shrooms and LPS all do well, i just placed the corals in the approiate flow ares.

As long as your sand stays down, polyps stay out, and your not ripping your softies apart id say, you dont have too much.

yea alrite these new nanostreams seem to do a great job of dispersing all that flow to not be so directional.
