Just putting my new live rock in 220> its aquacultured from Florida and pretty awesome color, growth and life. Will post some pics tonight.

Am finding lots of small thick redish brown worm like creatures on the rock. Almost look like the leg of a starfish with small burr like tentacles. Are these bristle worms???? I will post a pic tonight.
Should I remove these before putting rock in tank????

Thats what I thought. Should I remove as many as possible before putting rock in tank.

I have not seen any reason to remove bristle worms, even if you scrub off and try to get out as many as you can, there will still bo more. there will only be as many to survive as food supports.

Sounds like bristleworms to me as well.. they are good for your tank for the most part.. the only time they become a problem is if they get big enough to start hunting your fish.. I have several in my tank and the rock always looks good.
