neon green mushroom

anyone have any tips on getting these guys more color? they are a little green in the center but the outer parts of each cap are pretty much like brownish red... i appreciate any ideas

Are they watermelon mushies, or Rhodactus, frillies? Pics?

Probably your lighting....However, mushrooms don't require a lot of light. What are you using for lighting now? Also, what type of mushroom is it - can you post a pic?

sorry no pic - i have flourescent lighting but was told it should be fine - actually plan on upgrading to MH within the next 6 months. i was informed a few times that the lighting is not important for them - they are the Neon Green mushrooms from liveaquaria - not watermelon or ricordea but they have one titled neon green mushroom.
