ok people, i have had my 210 gallon tank now up and running for 18 onths, there are pictures in my gallery, would love some comments. only other people see it do not understand the whole concept, their experience with aquarium keeping is the goldfdish bowl. I would lov some experienced feedback

Looks good. All the corals in there seem to be nicely sized. What do you have in there for livestock?

1 copper buterfly - did great on the aptasia
1 orchid dottyback
1 black sailfin blenny
1 sailfin tang
1 rainfords goby
3 clowns
3 clams
1 gorgonian
green mat polyp
1 bubble coral
1 torch coral
1 hammer coral
1 frog spawn
1 blue tipped acropora - i have fraged it 4 times to make a cluster, growing nicely
1 green pavona
3 turbinaria
1 black long spine sea urchin
mushroom polys
large leather mushroom, i think he is moving up higher in the tank over time

Hi, Blunoser. I'd say for your first time out, you've done a great job. You have the tank load about right, aquascaping is efficient and visually appealing. I'm sure others may have some other comments about what you should be doing differently but I personally am very impressed with the effort.

I don't think people like to go through the process of clicking to see pics. It may be better if you post the pics in the thread. Here, allow me. Nice looking tank. Why don't you explain your setup, I'm sure people will take interest. Check out mine in the meantime :)

my set up is a 210 with 175lbs live rock, overflows to the basement to a sump where i have my protein skimmer and water production, r/o. I do not use u/v , i add kasselwater (spelling) by drip, make new each week. I believe by not over cleaning the water it allows for more microbs to be available to the corals
water changes are every 2 weeks 20% and i top up with r/o water with and automatic topper, i think it will kick on if 1 gallon of water has evap

oh yea, in the tank i have 3 pumps on a wave maker for water movement and a refugium hanging on the back of my tank
