added new fish

water is good
added 3 yellow tail damsels 4 days ago
and a yellow tang today
all doing well
I never did get a ammonia spike
is that because I have 125 lbs of cured live rock
and do you think I will be fine??

I would have waited a bit longer, but I tend to be cautious about trusting live rock to be clean. The tank should be fine. Damsels can get to be very mean, but they are fairly hardy. The tang should be okay, but I'd wait a good while before adding more fish. A quarantine tank might be a good addition.

I second the qt!! Watch your ammonia and nitrites as they may go up with your new additions.. I would have waited longer also...My 240 sat for 5 months before I added any fish [but I had other tanks]

And make sure your next fish can handle the Damsel and Tang..Both can get aggressive

Your damsels will each want their own "chunck" of the rock. If there's not a natural division between your rocks, only the most dominant is going to make it. These guys get very territorial.
