Chromis question

I was at my LFS and they were selling green chromis fish. They were the lightest green I have ever seen. I thought they would be deeper in color.

Do these fish come in different shades of green, or is pale green the true color?

It's like an optical effect. When the fish turn a certain angle, they become dark blue, but when they turn around again, they become light blue/green.
