I thought about using a fixture such as this (http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/light-fixtures/-/regular-clip-lamp/) for my 10 gallon refugium. I just don't know what bulb to get for it or if it will even work? I will be putting Cheato into it, is there any specific type of bulb I can use, it is just a standard socket. Thanks...

Thanks for the info, I will have to check the local supply at lowes/home depot to see if they stock a bulb around 5000k rating.

I picked up a GE Floodlight 90 Compact Fluorescent bulb for now. It is a 2700k Bulb that operates at 26 watts for a price of $10.97. I will see how it does before I order the 5100k bulb. Thanks again for the help...
