Thanks for the comments on the tank and clam. The coraline just started off green and then turned purple. I'm letting it cover both sides and just keeping it off the front glass. Tank just turned 1 year old....

Looks pretty small. You probably want to feed it phyto a couple times a week until it gets bigger. I would use the method where you put some tank water in a bowl, dose phyto into the bowl then put the clam in the bowl. Let the clam feed for about 1/2 hour or so then put it back in the tank.

Nice clam!

Whats the thing growing off the left side of the clams shell? I have them as well and think they are some form of Vermetid Snail.

It is a small clam. I feed the tank Phytoplankton every other day. Usually feed a cap and a half. The tank is in a good flow area of the tank and i'm sure he's getting enough of what he needs....

250 watt MHL 20K, just switched bulbs today though to a Phoenix 14K
