Hey Marv,

great shots! loving those nuclear greens.

Could you give us some detail on how you made those frag racks?

Thanks to all that responded... I greatly appreciate the kind words... :)

as for the frag racks... all you do is take magnet cleaners and superglue whatever size eggcrates you want as long as the magnets can hold the weight.. a good friend made all of mine for me... what I would def recommend is sanding the edges of eggcrates so if you're working on the tank, you don't accidentally cut yourselft on the sharp plastic pieces left behind from currint the eggcrate... they are definitely functional...

good luck.. thanks again guys...

Very nice! How do you prevent outbreak of pests and the like? Do you QT new zoos/palys before you add them to your main tank?

most of the time, I put them in my 12g nano office since I get my shipments delivered there... they stay there for a couple of days until they are all open and off they go for another inspection before they go in my main tank..

if they didn't pass the inspection, then I'll go ahead and dip them... this applies to frags less than 10 polyps... for mini colonies or colonies from LFS, they automatically get a dip for 3-5 mins and a rigorous checking... and then dip again.. I do this for about 3-4 times before they go in the tank....

hope that helped...

Thanks again..

man.. I'm so so sorry.. totally didn't answer this question...

anyway, it was an old tank my bro had a while back.. I liked the dimensions so I decided to use it.. I wished I bought a new one with the same dimensions coz I didn't notice all the sratches in it...

I think it's a standard 32g breeder so you shouldn't have a hard time finding one.. good luck...

I really like your variety of colors. I am considering buying some online. Can you reccomend any place you have used to purchase quality specimens from?
