I've had some problems since my tank upgrade. Went from MH to T5, and not knowing just how much brighter T5s are than MH, i did not acclimate them to the light. Consequently, i lost a lot of my favorite corals.

So its been 2 months since the debacle. I have only added a couple zoo frags in that time. But as i was out and about over the weekend i found 2 nice corals that would look great in my tank. I got a screaming deal on the acan echinata that made it too hard to pass up.

The favia is pretty common, but i like the looks of it. It has some interesting palys on it as well, i'm hoping they color up a little more.

Nice. Don't let that Acan echinata near anything, those things a death machines.

Yah, i recently lost one in my tank upgrade :( Actually, observing these 2 at night, i found the favia with feeders about 6" long! The echinata is downwind of the favia so i had to move it a little. Haven't seen any aggressiveness out of the echinata, yet...... ;)
