210 All-Glass Repair

I have a 210 ALL-GALSS tank that has a leak, It is at the front seam on the bottom. Doe's the front glass set on the bottom glass. I may have cut the silicone when cleaning the tank. If I cut off just the front seal and reseal will the silicone hold in the corners to the old silicone? Just spent 7 hour draining the tank, corals in buckets.

I cut the silicone off the seam, the front glass sets on the bottom glass.

It appears that the bottom glass may not have had enough silicone. Just going to get a new tank.

Probably the best idea to ge a new tank. You could try to repair the old tank while you have teh safe place for your corals, and have time to test it out and make sure it worked well.

Afterwards you can have the QT tank or staging tank for your use.
