So, my tank has been up about 7 months now, and I finaly got some LPS. Nothing exciting, a torch and a frogspawn, but they're my first so I thought I'd throw out a couple of pics. They've been in the tank for a little over a week now. Please forgive my n00b over-enthusiasam :D

No reason to apologize. I was the same way when I got my open brain a few weeks back. Heck, I'm still excited about it! Nice looking corals! Congrats.

They look happy. The frogspawn doesn't look nearly as nubby as I usually see, wonder why.

i agree, that's wierd that there's not that many bulbs on the frogspawn tentacles. Great looking corals!

Great additions and congrats. I got a frogspawn as one of my first corals and it now has about 20 heads on it and is the size of one of those mini basketballs. Definitely one of my favorite corals because of the mesmerizing motion of it gently moving in the flow.
Congrats again.

The only thing phurst needs to apologize for is calling torches and frogspawns nothing exciting! I live for Euphyllias. I have a whole tankful.
Seriously, great looking pieces!

I agree totally...just because they are not that highly sought after acan, micro, etc....doesn't mean that they aren't still incredible corals. Congrats again.

I have the same sort of frogspawn in my tank. I've had it for about 8 months and there are still only a few knobs on it. Since then I got another frag (one head) and its knobby as all get out. I'm not sure, but I think there are differant types of branching frogspawn. Very nice pieces by the way, Phurst.:strooper:
