Aquactinic Fixture Price Increase??

Hi,

Just curious what caused the big price increase on the 48" Aquactinics fixtures from $280 to $357?

Sorry if I am missed something, but noticed the big price increase
since two weeks ago.

When Aquactinics introduced these fixtures they did so with special introductory pricing to help gain brand awareness. I think it has paid and they get great reviews. My guess is that material costs/production costs have gone up and now they can no longer offer the same pricing.

Yeah I saw this price increase as well. I'm very let down since I was just getting ready to order one now I must save more MONEY!

One thing to take into account is Manufacturer Direct comapred to a Second Party.

Some of that could be true in some situations but material costs really did go up. I just spoke with another company that fabricates and they had 4 sheet metal & parts increases last year. They didn't increase their pricing until the 4th increase and it had to be pretty dramatic once they finally decided they couldn't hold off any longer.
