Hello everyone. I just set up a 24g aquapod which I changed out the stock pump and replaced it with two max jet 900's and also added fission protein skimmer. I added 20lbs of live sand and about 45 or so lbs of live rock which I got from Tampa Bay Saltwater. So far I think I have been bitten by the bug. There is just so much life in such a small place. The package which I bought from TBS was unreal. There is so much life on all of the rock. There were corals, crabs, sea stars, and even a jewel box clam I believe its called. He even threw in a few anenomes with the stuff he gave me along with a stick looking thing that I need to figure out what it is. I cant say enough about how well this was all put together and the level of service Richard gave me. If anyone is looking to start a tank I would look there for your rock and sand and more. I will have to get pictures of the tank up soon. Any tips or advice anyone has would be much appreciated. I am new to this hobby and can use all the help I can get.:wavehand:

I have a feeling the stick thing is an arrow crab. Welcome to the hobby and keep using RC.

A couple anemones? Are they real small looking anemones, long tentacles? Could be aiptasia. A clam with the rock is real cool though!
Make sure you get some calcium buffer and keep calcium levels at 450 ppm or so for that clam, and alkalinity also, 9-10 dKh is good.

One of the anenomes is a pink tip and is a fairly nice size, and the other looks like some kind of flower anenome and is good size as well. not sure what kind it is but it has some purple in it.

Those are some nice hitchhikers. The anenomes need bright lighting (doesn't sound like they're aiptasia) and weekly spot feeding.

Thanks I was wrong about the purple I hadnt turned on the lights yet(didnt wana shock them) THe one anenome glows in a green color but still looks like some kind of flower anenome. I have 64watts of light (Im almost positive) in the tank will that be enough for them?

Not generally speaking, you should invest in a bigger light if you want to keep anenomes.
