Brown Jelly Infection?

Looks like a brown jelly infection to me, too. I would do a few lugols dips, increase flow a bit if possible.

Get a shypon hose and keep that stuff from accumulating on the coral or from spreading around the tank.

I would probably frag a piece or two during the dip and place in another section of the tank. This will at least give you a larger chance that one of the pieces will survive the infection.

I just got it from a LFS
What causes this?

AFAIK it is generally though to be a protozoal infection that eats away the tissue, it can effect other corals and spread too, so you need to treat it as proactively as possible! Do the lugols dips and increase flow so the protozoan can't accumulate the way the picture is showing. That will give the coral time to heal.
