I would like to start adding Acropora. I have several types of Montipora right now the appear to be doing great, but I'm worried the Acropra might be to difficult to grow. I had a small frag of purple Acro. several months ago that came attached to my Monti frag. It died a week or two later, but the Monti has taken off like a weed. I dont want to have a $70.00 dollar repeat.
What's a good starter Acropora? Thanks
Here are some pics.

Well Right on! For sure i would feel safe adding it. I grew mine under pc for 4 months and got it to color up some and had polyp extension and growth.

They like alternating flow, stable parameters and good light. Meet those requirements and you should be sucessfull.

i'd suggest a common acro like a green slimer. That way if you kill it you're not out a ton of money.

I agree, a green slimer would be an excellent first acro. They are fast growers also.

Pocillapora is also an easy one. It grows fast too.
