90g with 100+lbs live rock and a bunch of fish and corals. About 6 weeks old. No nitrites, trates, etc. levels all seem good but have this dark brown algae growing on the rocks, sand, etc. I did my first water change today so maybe that will help. Any suggestions

Part of a new tank. Get some astrea snails.

I just saw someone else's thread on a similar problem and learned a bunch. My nitrites did spike and have beena at 0 for over 2 weeks now and since i have put the fish and corals and snails, hermits. i know I am rushing a patience thing but....

Just give it a little more time. Assuming you have a properly set up tank, the bloom should die off shortly.

add cerith snails. Probably just a normal algae phase. You'll go thru a few of them in the beginning. Cerith snails always help the most for me.
