Since neither end of the magnetic housing designates an inside or an outside, does anyone know for SURE if both ends are water safe? I have some MJ mods and if they are both safe, I am going to mount my PH to my overflow boxes. Has anyone contacted Algae Free to ensure this?

I am going to take another one and mount it on the side of my Tunze Wave box if the are safe. I'll see if this will affect the wave generation, but I don't think that it will.

I think it might be time to cut some acrylic squares:D

step 1. Return expensive PH holder.
step 2. Purchase cheap black aquarium magnet at wal-mart or similar
step 3. Using super glue gel, glue the PH to the magnet long wise.
Step 4. Enjoy the satisfaction of your cheap good looking DIY project.

Then I would need to know if the cheap magnets at wallmart contain an epoxy that is reef/water safe on both sides. Furthermore the magnets were Christmas gifts from someone out of state and there is no way I could get a receipt. But that is irrelavent. So AGAIN, the question still remains;

Does anyone know for SURE if both ends are water safe?

Only us crazy reefers would get magnets for Christmas!:)

I finally got around to making the call and as I suspected, both ends are the same. There is no change in the warrenty if the magnet is placed in the overflow box. Hope that helps anyone in the future.
