D&D marine terminator 2 vs. Octopus NW150

What do you guys think between these two skimmers,

hhmm, that's a tough one, i've owned both and out of the box niether are anything special, but both can be modded and work awesome.
i plumbed an aquabee 2000/1 nw into my d &d marine and it rocked, and the octopus nw 150 was great with the threadwheel mod.
the octo does have a smaller footprint though, and it's waaay cheaper to do a thread wheel mod to it, so i guess i would choose that one, but my octo 150 crazed all in the collection cup, so i was not impressed with that, but i havent seen or heard of it happening to alot of people so probably not the norm.

I am adding the new skimmer to a tank that already has an ASM g3, so would one complement the G3 better?

there has been alot of debate about running 2 skimmers. depending on how they are set up there may be some competition between the skimmers but i dont really subscribe to that theory. not sure if you have read up on that or not. a G3 on a 100 gallon (according to your "current tanks" listing) is pretty good with a low-average bioload if your going the SPS route IMO. Softies would be perfectly happy with an even higher bio-load. you may just want to sell the G3 and put that money into one big skimmer. that makes tuning your skimmate output much easier. just something to think about.

actually that system has a tunze 9010, this is for my system at school (I am a teacher) a 150 heavy bioload reef (softies and a few sps). I have a G3 on it now and due to budget constraints can't really get a bigger unit to replace the G3.
