I'm looking to purchase two of these for my tank. Is this a decent ballast?

Ballast: ARO electronic 250watt ballast

I am running 2 of the 250 watts. Going on a year and a half with no problems at all. Good bang for the buck...

I have a couple of the 175's I've used for a couple years with no problems at all.

Do I need to enclose the ballasts?
