Hello Leo73173, if you are fairly new to zoa keeping, I would agree with AVA. Just spend a little time each day for a week or so reading as much as you can. I would also find a local reefer who can sort of mentor you along the way.

As a tip, when you have any issues with your zoas or palys, and for us to help you, we need as much info as possible. Parameters, any changes, addition, new acquistions, placement, or any and all info you can share. For example, when you say they are not doing well, try to be a bit more detailed so someone can help you as quickly as possible. Sometimes all you have is a day or two before a colony can reach the point of no return. Please don't take offense to my being direct.

Thanks Mucho no offense here....I have had them for a week now and they just will not open to there potential. I have a 55 and I do weekly water changes I have tested my water in about 3 weeks but prior to that everyting was fine. Everything else in the tank is doing fine. I have also just added 3 emerald crabs 2 cleanr and 5 peppermint .....would this have anyting to do with it. I dont think so just thought I would ask
