Hi,

These zoo's opened up the first day in my tank and as time has continued on they started to shrivel up and look like this. Can it be the placement in the tank? I've taken a turkey baster and dusted them off a few times a week. My tank params are good

ammonia = 0ppm
Nitrate=0ppm
Nitrite = 0 ppm
ph = 8.3
DK =15
Calcium = 450

Let me know if there is anything that can be done to save these guys or if it's a waiting game.
I do have a ton of those amiphipods in my tank and I don't know if they could be the culprit harassing them, however I do have a mandarin as well.
There aren't any nudi's, white spots, or worms on these, they just don't appear happy.

Thanks,
Dave

I had a couple of colonies to do the same thing. Just give them plenty of time keep them clean and they will come back. Feed them when they start to open again.

Would a FW/Iodine dip help or hurt?

I think those are on their way out.. although I've experienced RPE shrivelled up like that but came back after some TLC.. it took about 6-8 weeks..
