Refuge ?

I set-up a mini refuge from my AC 110 and question is do I need to have a light on the refuge and if so how long does it stay on.

some peopel leave in on 24 houres some people leave theirs on a reverse lighting schedule of their main tank. i do the reverse.

If you have micro algea in your fuge you will have to run your light a minimun of 8 hours a day but it will not hurt to run them 24/7 if it does not cause a heating problem in your main display
