I'm planning to set up a reef tank and wondered what lighting parameters would give me the optimum light. Tank is 72x24x24 and I considered the Coralife 72 3x250 or 3x150 .I am not into sps and will most likely stock zoos, leathers, mrooms, lps, rics, yumas you get the idea. The only negative I see with the Coralife fixture is the colour of the mh,I believe they are 10k but seem very yellow to me. Thanks in advance for your replies and suggestions

I'm tagging along- this will be my next step as I just order my tank, very similar in size to yours. The 72" legth adds some challenges to lighting as there are allot of 48" fixtures out there. I've considered DIY lighting as I am an electrician but I don't know that it would save that much $$$$$ in the long run.
